The Humboldt Moot Association owes its existence to its members. All friends and especially all alumni of the Humboldt University teams are warmly welcome to join. Unfortunately, we could not reach all former Humboldt mooties when the Association was founded, but we hope to reach out to more past mooties by this homepage. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail.

It is the concept of the Association to facilitate the participation of the students by subsidising the team's expenses though membership fees and support by institutional sponsors. The main concern is to reduce the self-contribution of the students to an amount which is affordable to everybody.

This means every member has the chance to pass on what he got out of the moot himself to later generations. In particular the current team of the 15th Moot is offered the opportunity to join an "inverse generation-contract" and to become a supporter after having been supported by the Association.

Besides, we invite our members to regular meetings allowing them to stay in contact over a few drinks. In May - following the Annual General Meeting - we have plans for a summer barbecue.

It would be wonderful if as many alumni as possible joined!
