About us

The Humboldt Moot Association e.V. is an incorporated non-profit association with two main goals:

Being an alumni association, it is a platform to keep in touch with other alumni of Humboldt University who participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot Court und Willem C. Vis (East) Moot Court and to get to know the members of the newer Humboldt teams.

The second goal is to support the current team. Membership fees to the Association and institutional sponsoring will be used to facilitate the participation in the Willem C. Vis Moot Court and the Willem C. Vis (East) Moot Court. The main concern is to reduce the obligatory self contribution by the student team members to an amount which is affordable to any student. The idea is to create an inverse inter-generation contract: The students which were supported by the Humboldt Moot Association become supporters them selves afterwards.
