Hermann Dahlitz


7th semester; studies of law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Contract Law“. Participated in the 17th/7th Willem C. Vis Moot 2009/2010 as a research assistant for the team of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Participated in the Model European Union Conference in 2010. Student assistant in an international corporate law firm. Received a BA in Economics after a three year dual study of economics (focus banking), combined with a traineeship in a private bank in Berlin. Interships with the Federal Ministry of Finance Germany as well as corporate law firms in Berlin. Speaks fluent English.

Studied one year abroad at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Internship with an international corporate law firm et al.. Student assistant for a leading medium-sized joint practice. 7th semester; studies of law at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy) and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Intellectual Property Rights“. Internships with the legal departement at SAP AG and the German Federal Parliament. Speaks fluent French and English. Good knowledge in Italian. Is interested in classical music and plays the viola.

Internships with an association as well as two medium-sized law firms in Berlin (European and Social Law) and Los Angeles, CA (Corporate Law). Speaks fluent English, good knowledge in Spanish and basic knowledge in French.

Internship with Mannheimer Swartling and various Courts of Law. Oversaw several projects for the chair of Civil Law, European Privat Law, Consumer and Competition Law. Speaks fluent English, basic knowledge in Spanish and Swedish, qualification in Latin. Has been honored as student of the year in high school for his social and cultural commitment.

Acquired the „Certificat de Droit Transnational“ in connection with a study abroad at Université de Genève and the IHEID in Geneva. Internship with the German Embassy in Brazil, a NGO in Cambodia. Worked as a student assistant in Freiburg. Volunteer social work for an organization for physically and mentally disabled people in São Paulo. Speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Qualification in Latin. Is interested in languages, literature, plays soccer and is enthused about back-packing around the globe.

Vis Moot for the Trinity College Dublin and in the 18th/8th Willem C Vis Moot for the team of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Former secretary for ELSA (European Law Students Association) at Trinity College Dublin. Stays abroad in Spain, the USA and Austria.  Mother tongue English, fluent in German, good knowledge of Irish and basic knowledge of French. Swimmer. Interested in theatre.
