Studied one year abroad at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Internship with an international corporate law firm et al.. Student assistant for a leading medium-sized joint practice. Year of volunteer social work for an evangelic youth organization. Speaks fluent English and Spanish. Qualifications in Latin and basic knowledge in French. Plays basketball and soccer. Member of the soccer team of the law school of Humboldt University.

Katharina Jünger

Adrian Lingens

7th semester; studies of law at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy) and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Intellectual Property Rights“. Internships with the legal departement at SAP AG and the German Federal Parliament. Speaks fluent French and English. Good knowledge in Italian. Is interested in classical music and plays the viola.

Robin Matzke

6th semester; studies of law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin as well as regional studies of Latin Amerika at the Technical University of Dresden. Worked for the Saxon Parliament and the German Federal Parliament. Student assitant for Prof. Dr. Paulus. Internships with an association as well as two medium-sized law firms in Berlin (European and Social Law) and Los Angeles, CA (Corporate Law). Speaks fluent English, good knowledge in Spanish and basic knowledge in French.

Stephan Rauch

7th semester; studies of law at Universität Leipzig, University of Stockholm and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „ European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Intellectual Property Rights “. Internship with Mannheimer Swartling and various Courts of Law. Oversaw several projects for the chair of Civil Law, European Privat Law, Consumer and Competition Law. Speaks fluent English, basic knowledge in Spanish and Swedish, qualification in Latin. Has been honored as student of the year in high school for his social and cultural commitment.

Lisa Schmidt

4th semester; studies of law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Studies at the European Law School, which provides for an additional Master’s degree in both Paris and London. Participated in the Model European Union Conference in 2010. Spent a year in high school on Mexico. Internship with an international law firm, politically involved. Volunteer social work in Europe, Ecuador and Mexico. Speaks fluent English and Spanish, knowledge in French.

Marc Sonntag

7th semester; studies of law at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „Law of the International Community and the European Integration“. Acquired the „Certificat de Droit Transnational“ in connection with a study abroad at Université de Genève and the IHEID in Geneva. Internship with the German Embassy in Brazil, a NGO in Cambodia. Worked as a student assistant in Freiburg. Volunteer social work for an organization for physically and mentally disabled people in São Paulo. Speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Qualification in Latin. Is interested in languages, literature, plays soccer and is enthused about back-packing around the globe.

Eva Jennings (Coach)

Master’s studies of law (LL.M.) at the Humboldt-University of Berlin. Completed Bachelor’s studies of law (LL.B. Laws and German) at the Trinity College Dublin. Erasmus year at the Humboldt-University of Berlin. Participant in the 17th/7th Willem C. Vis Moot for the Trinity College Dublin and in the 18th/8th Willem C Vis Moot for the team of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Former secretary for ELSA (European Law Students Association) at Trinity College Dublin. Stays abroad in Spain, the USA and Austria.  Mother tongue English, fluent in German, good knowledge of Irish and basic knowledge of French. Swimmer. Interested in theatre.

Completed studies of law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on " European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Corporate Law" and with a two-year course in foreign legal studies (English law). Participated in the 17th/7th Willem C. Vis Moot 2009/2010 for the team of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Research assistant for an international corporate law firm. Internships and research for several medium-sized law firms in Berlin. Participated in the Model European Union Conference in 2007. Speaks fluent English; qualifications in Latin as well as ancient Greek.

Nicholas Palenker (Coach)

7th semester; studies of law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Contract Law“. Participated in the 17th/7th Willem C. Vis Moot 2009/2010 for the team of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Participated in the Model European Union Conference in 2011. Student assistant for an international corporate law firm. Scholarship from the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerks. Represented the student body as a long-standing member of the school conference. Internships with a law firm in Berlin as well as in Munich and Chicago, US. Has been driving for a cycling team in the German U23-Bundesliga for 2 years. Fabian Römer (Coach)

Completed studies of law at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with a focus on „European and International Civil and Commercial Law / Contract Law“ and with a two-year course in foreign legal studies (US-American Law). Participated in the 16th/6th Willem C. Vis Moot 2008/2009 and coached the team of Humboldt Universität at the 17th/7th Willem C. Vis Moot 2009/2010. Internship with a corporate law firm in Berlin. Research assistant for an international corporate law firm with a focus on insolvency law. Attended the „American School of Bukarest“ for four years; Participated in the state finals of "Jugend Debattiert" (Youth Debating) in Brandenburg; Reserve officer of the German Airforce. Speaks fluent English; qualification in Latin. Teamplayer tennis.

Karl-Michael Schmidt (Akademische Leitung)

Rechtsanwalt (Attorney at Law) and director of the Institute for the Legal Profession. In charge of the Humboldt-University Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot program since the inaugural participation in the 6th Willem C. Vis Moot (1998/1999).
