Association

The Humboldt Moot Association e.V. is an incorporated non-profit association with two main goals:

• As an alumni association, it provides a platform for alumni of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin's Willem C. Vis Moot teams to keep in touch with one another and meet members of the new Humboldt teams. The teams compete in the Willem C. Vis Moot and the Willem C. Vis (East) Moot.
• As a friends' association, it supports the current teams' participation in the Willem C. Vis Moot competitions in Vienna and Hong Kong with funds received from sponsors and membership fees. Its members and board also help the teams prepare for the competitions. The idea is to create an inverse intergenerational contract: students who received support from the Humboldt Moot Association become supporters themselves.

The Association is managed by its three-member Board.

The Board is supported by the Advisory Council. Its members are Arno Eisen and Dr. Joseph Schwartz.
